• Official SEAG Practice Papers 1 and 2 (English and Irish Versions) have been available, free to download, since 2023.
• They follow the SEAG Entrance Assessment Format and Specification.
• They are identifiable as authentic SEAG Practice Papers because they include the GL Assessment Logo at the bottom left of the front page and on the back page.

Parents and teachers had asked if it would be possible for SEAG to provide some new official SEAG Practice Papers.

We have listened and have worked with GL Assessment to provide SEAG Practice Paper 3 and SEAG Practice Paper 4 (English and Irish versions)

These two new Papers (in each language) are particularly special because, unlike any other SEAG Practice Papers, the questions are drawn from those used in the actual 2025 SEAG Entrance Assessment .

In practice that means that:

·      well over 90% of the questions in SEAG Practice Papers 3 and 4 (English and Irish

versions) are questions from the SEAG 2025 Entrance Assessment.

·      the comprehension passages are the same as those used in the 2025 SEAG Entrance

Assessment (English and Irish versions).

·      they follow the format and specification of the SEAG Entrance Assessment

·      importantly, each Paper reflects the standard / level of difficulty of the 2025

SEAG Entrance Assessment Papers.

In addition:

·      SEAG Practice Papers 3 and 4 are identifiable as authentic SEAG Practice Papers

because they include the GL Assessment Logo on the front and back pages.

·      Each SEAG Practice Paper comes with its own unique SEAG Answer Sheet.

·      The Accompanying, Parents’ Guide now provides the answers to all 8 SEAG Practice

Papers.

·      SEAG provides all the official SEAG Practice Papers and SEAG Answer Sheets, free to

download, on our website. Look for the Guidance Tab at the top of the home page,

then click on Practice Materials and you will find:

Conditions of Use

There is a note from GL Assessment at the back of Practice Papers 3 and 4 which states:

“These materials may be downloaded and printed solely for personal, educational and non-commercial use for practice purposes. They must not be reproduced, adapted, distributed or incorporated into any commercial tutoring materials, publications, products or services without GL Assessment Limited’s prior written permission.”

It is important that everyone respects these limitations to use.
