On 8th August we hit the 10000 Pupil Applications mark. Thank you to all the parents who have already submitted an Application. a further 500 Applications have been started but not yet submitted.

Almost 80% of Assessment Centres still have very good availability but more Centres are filling their places and the choice of Centres is likely to reduce over the next few weeks . The later you leave it the lower the choice.

• The Registration Period ends on 18th September 2026. The Registration Portal will close at 11:59 pm that day.
• Only pupils who have been registered, by their parent / guardian, can sit the Entrance Assessment.
• If a pupil has NOT been registered he / she will NOT be able to sit the 2026 SEAG Entrance Assessment
• IF YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO WANTS THEIR CHILD TO SIT THE ENTRANCE ASSESSMENT PLEASE TELL THEM THAT THEY NEED TO ACT QUICKLY.
• Registration is the responsibility of parents and guardians. It is NOT the responsibility of the primary school.

if you have still to register your child please check the information you are sending SEAG very carefully. You are able to correct / edit before the Application is submitted. Despite this checking stage, so far, we have needed to contact around 900 parents during the verification process.

VERIFICATION

We have now verified over 8,000 Pupil Applications and are waiting for over 300 parents to respond to issues we have raised about their Applications. Over 500 parents have already responded. We are working as hard as we can to verify the Applications which are currently "Pending".

Please DO NOT contact SEAG to ask when your child’s Application will be verified. Please be patient.

All Pupil Registrations initially have a status of PENDING.

We carefully check that:

1. The pupil image is suitable and in the correct format.
2. The pupil ID document confirms the date of birth that the parent has entered.
3. The secondary adult contact is not the same person as the parent who is making the application
4. All other details are correct
5. The Free School Meals information provided is correct.

Please note your Assessment Centre is secured at the time of application when payment/FSM waiver is made.

If we find that everything has been entered correctly we will verify the pupil Registration. The application status changes from PENDING to VERIFIED.

If we find an issue with a Pupil Application we will contact the parent via the Support Function on SEAG account to get the issue resolved.

We will not contact parents about verification unless there is an issue.

The checking of each Registration takes time and we appreciate your patience during this busy period.
